Professor Dr. Por Lip Yee

Dr. Lip Yee, an esteemed Professor at the Department of System and Computer Technology within the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at the Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, earned his Ph.D. from the Universiti Malaya under the mentorship of Prof. Abdullah bin Gani in 2012. He is also a senior member of the IEEE. Since then, Dr. Por has made significant contributions to academia, research, and industry.
Dr. Por's research endeavors have been at the forefront of technological advancement, particularly in the domains of security and quality assurance of information (NEC 2020: 0611) and machine learning (NEC 2020: 0613). His research interests include machine learning, support vector machines, deep learning, long-short-term memory, computer vision, AIoT, IoT, blockchain, authentication, graphic passwords, PIN-entry, cryptography, data hiding, steganography, and watermarking. His pioneering work has garnered recognition both nationally and internationally, with over 100 academic papers published in reputable journals. Notably, he was among the first few pioneers to publish in the top 1% of ISI journals, with commendable citations across platforms such as Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar. Associate Professor Dr. Ahmad Sufril Azlan Mohamed

Ahmad Sufril Azlan Mohamed is an Associate Professor at the School of Computer Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He holds a Bachelor’s in Information Technology (Hons.) from Multimedia University, a Master’s in Computing Science from the University of Manchester, and a Ph.D. from the University of Salford, UK. His research focuses on artificial intelligence, image processing, video tracking, facial recognition, and medical imaging. He actively engages in industrial and international collaborations, particularly in SMT defects detection, markerless motion capture, traffic object tracking and analysis, and developing virtual and augmented reality solutions for hazard simulations and training. His work also includes leveraging deep learning for motion capture to analyze human activity recognition and ergonomics. He supervises Ph.D. and Master by Research students from China, the Middle East, Africa, and Malaysia. Additionally, he is involved in auditing university programmes locally and internationally, ensuring academic excellence and compliance.
Associate Professor Dr. Yau Wei Chuen
Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), Malaysia
Dr. Yau Wei Chuenis an Associate Professor with the School of Computing and Data Science at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM). He joined XMUM as a pioneer staff member since 2016. Yau received his BS and MS degrees from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, and his PhD degree from Multimedia University, Malaysia. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and a Professional Technologist (Cyber Security). He also holds GMOB (GIAC Mobile Device Security Analyst) and GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) certifications. Yau’s research interests include cryptography, security protocols, intrusion detection, network security, blockchain, and machine learning. He was the General Co-Chair of Mycrypt 2016. He has been invited to serve in the capacities in program committee member for international conferences and guest editor/reviewer for various journals. He was an Evaluation Panel member for MySEAL (National List of Trusted Cryptographic Algorithms). He has also worked as a principal investigator/researcher for various research projects funded by the Malaysian government, and provided research consultancy and training to the industries.
Assistant Professor Ts Dr Chin Soon Ku

Chin Soon Ku received a PhD from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, in 2019. Currentlyan assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science, University of Tunku AbdulRahman, Malaysia, his current research interests including AI techniques (such as geneticalgorithm), computer vision, decision support tools, graphical authentication (authentication,picture-based password, graphical password), machine learning, deep learning, speechprocessing, natural language processing and unmanned logistics fleets. He has publishedpapers on graphical password methods, including techniques to prevent shoulder-surfingattacks and improve password security. Additionally, he has contributed to research oninformation security, particularly in the context of chatbots and cryptography. He hasexplored techniques, features, and applications related to mobile phone data, including its usein crime applications and surveys of mobile phone data. In addtion, he has worked onimproving optimization algorithms for various applications, such as optimal allocation andscheduling of wind turbine and electric vehicle parking lots, and optimal design of hybridenergy systems. He has conducted research on equity forecasting and stock marketpredictions, including the use of long short-term memory methods and dynamic indicators.
